YouTube Engagement Rate Calculator YouTube

Enter a channel and get its engagement rate two ways: likes plus comments divided by views, and divided by subscribers. Both use the last 10 uploads.

How this number is made

  1. Engagement by view = (likes + comments) / views x 100. Above 3 percent is good, above 6 percent is excellent.
  2. Engagement by subscriber shows how much of the audience actually reacts. Around 1 to 3 percent is typical.
  3. Comments are weighted the same as likes, the common industry convention.
