YouTube Monetization Checker YouTube
Paste a channel link, @handle or name. The checker reads the public eligibility numbers and looks for ad placements on the channel's recent videos, then gives a verdict with a confidence score and shows every signal behind it.
How this number is made
- YouTube publishes nothing about Partner Program status. This tool reads what is public: subscribers, uploads in the last 90 days, made-for-kids flags, and whether the public watch page of each recent video carries ad placements.
- Monetized videos embed an ad placement block in their page. Videos on channels that are not monetized do not. Up to 5 recent long-form uploads are sampled.
- YouTube can run its own ads on some non-partner videos, so ads alone are never treated as proof. Ads plus the eligibility thresholds give a high confidence; ads without them give a low one.
- Watch hours are private, so that requirement is always shown as unknown. The result is a confidence, never a certainty.
- The ad check first probes a video known to carry ads. If YouTube serves this server an ad-free page for it, the ad signal is reported as unavailable rather than as a no, and the verdict rests on the eligibility signals alone.
